You can help light the way to a cure for cancer and honor loved ones who have battled the disease. During the Relay For Life event, a beautiful Luminary Ceremony takes place. Candles are placed in luminary bags and can be purchased weeks prior to the event, as well as during the event. Volunteers place the luminary bags around the track. Once all the luminaries have been placed, they are all lit and the names of those memorialized and honored are remembered in a touching ceremony. If you attend our Luminary ceremony we ask that you show respect to those involved. Please keep little ones close as the stadium lights are turned off during this period of time. The votives are then left to burn throughout the night, serving as a reminder of the purpose of Relay For Life. For more information on purchasing a luminary please visit our Form section. Luminaries are $10.00 each and can be In Memory or In Honor.
